A click is defined as a disturbance exceeding the limit of continuous noise for not longer than 200ms, separated from a subsequent or preceding disturbance by at least 200ms.
All the automatic, programme-controlled machines, electrically-operated and thermal appliances, generate clicks.
The effects of such disturbance, vary with the repetition rate and the amplitude: higher disturbance amplitudes tend to occur less frequently.
